LISA training and CQA Details

CONSTRUCTION QA/QC FOR GEOSYNTHETIC & COMPACTED CLAY LINER INSTALLATION
16 – 17 May 2018

This two day course is dedicated to installation of geomembranes, geotextiles, geocomposites and geogrids. Training includes a geomembrane-seaming with a detailed explanation of seam peel and shear testing.

The course focuses on the installation of compacted clay liners and geosynthetic clay liners (GCLs). Special emphasis will be given to establishing rationale and standard operating procedures for field inspections, documentation of test and visual observations, and implementation of CQA plans.

The course is ideal preparation for the Geosynthetic Certification Institute’s Inspectors Certification Program (GCI-ICP) Exam. A tour of TRI’s geosynthetic testing facility will be included for providing relevant insight into the testing side of CQA

The GCI-ICP, overseen by the Geosynthetic Institute (GSI), provides a comprehensive understanding to those professionals who are preparing CQC/CQA plans, performing CQA/CQC observations and tests, and reviewing field CQC/CQA procedures.
