Sam Allen is an experienced professional with a background in chemical and materials engineering, with specialization in the field of polymer testing and geosynthetics.
Presently Mr. Allen serves as Division Manager for TRI’s geosynthetics program.
Senior Engineer & Director of TRI’s Transportation Testing and Research ServicesEli Cuelho
Eli has over twenty years in geosynthetic application research as well as other transportation research areas such as, pavement design and analysis, remote sensing and instrumentation, bridge deck performance, and specification development.
While at the University of Texas, Jeff principally worked on alternative / evapotranspirative cover design and evaluation for the EPA, performed research with expansive clays for TxDOT, and participated in the design and implementation of a centrifuge permeameter to study flow through unsaturated soils.
Joel Sprague a long-time member of the senior technical staff of TRI Environmental, Austin, TX. specializing in research, development, and application of geosynthetics, plastic pipe, and erosion and sediment control technologies.
James Sprague, TRI’s Field Lab Director provides operational management of TRI’s erosion and sediment control index and bench-scale testing efforts, and provides direction to site technicians on site operations and testing protocol.
Jarrett Nelson serves as a Technical Director for TRI Environmental. Mr. Nelson manages many testing programs including: Conventional Creep/Stress Rupture, Stepped Isothermal (SIM), Installation Damage, Asphalt and Base Reinforcement and Chemical Durability.
Abigail Gilson, M.S., P.E., is the Director of TRI Environmental’s Liner Integrity Services. As a graduate of TRI’s inaugural liner integrity survey class in 2003, her liner integrity and leak location field experience has exceeded 190 million square feet and over 200 projects.
Nadia Minnaar, TRI Africa began in 2018 through TRI Africa’s Managing Director Nadia Minnaar. Ms. Minnaar started training with Ms. Gilson in 2014. Ms. Minnaar’s survey experience encompassed over 700 000 m² of covered geomembrane surveys in Africa and North America. Ms. Minnaar’s ELL experience is currently unrivaled on the African continent
