Comprehensive Testing & Quality Assurance for the Plastic Pipe Industry

TRI is a trusted, independent third-party laboratory specializing in quality assurance auditing, polymer testing, and forensic investigation services. We work with contractors, owners, engineering firms, and government agencies to evaluate polymer pipe systems, including pipe liner repair materials, gaskets, and component resins.

As an A2LA-accredited lab (ISO 17025), TRI supports rigorous testing programs such as those from the Plastic Pipe Institute (PPI), AASHTO’s NTPEP, and other national and international standards organizations. Our capabilities cover an expanding range of laboratory tests—serving applications like cured-in-place pipe (CIPP), slip lining, in-line replacement, point source repair, and trenchless sewer and manhole rehabilitation.

We also perform testing to meet the requirements of ASTM International, ISO, ANSI, NEMA, UL, CSA, API, FM Approvals, and more. In addition, TRI conducts hydrostatic testing as required by the Hydrostatic Stress Board (HSB) and NSF to ensure compliance for pressure pipe applications.
